Poetry of Change

In this Installation, there is a literary tradition, centuries old, of composed personal letters, written with pen and ink and carried by way of horseback, coach and mail carrier to friends and loved ones. Today we move to the demand and constancy of email, texts and video via the Internet. These old and new forms bring together our memories and experiences. I would like to mark this moment of redefinition.

Controlling Fake Robot

Fake Robot travels between winter and summer but she’s insufficient to the needs at hand. Controlling Robot is deeply amusing since she’s fake. She cannot take action. Fake Robot begs the question: Could green technology and AI reverse and solve the earth’s condition?

‘Margins’ at the Commons Gallery, New York, Curated by Judith Schwartz, Klaus Bergel and Shida Kuo, February, 2010.
